can someone with a berretta 96 centurion, 9000s, cougar .40 compact, please measure the height (with mag inserted) and length of their pistol. width would also be appreciated. I cannot find it online. thanks for the help.

also, do you like these pistols? I have been looking at it for a ccw.

well my original question got answered very quickly and succinctly, so what do you guys think of the beretta cougar and 9000s? should I stay away from them in .40? how do they stack up to the alternative, a CZ 75 compact .40?

Pretty darn big for CCL, IMO. The Cougar would be a better fit, IMO.

The 9000s aren't very popular with the shooting masses for a variety of reasons.

the centurion is the shorter version of the 96 right? It should be around 7" long right?

and you won't find the Centurion slide specs on the 96 page but from guns.ru (same for 96):
"Beretta 92FS Centurion (1996) – version of the Model 92FS with a shortened barrel and slide, the frame is the same as on the Model 92FS. Overall length is 197 mm, barrel length is 103 mm, magazine capacity 15 rounds."
and from google calculator:
197 millimeters = 7.75590551 inches
103 millimeters = 4.05511811 inches

That's Beretta's international site. They tend to keep the info up for most all of the major production lines where as Beretta USA mostly just keeps current production info up.

I know it was not listed among your choices, but the Px4 in .40 that I have, is an excellent pistol, one that I have been extremely pleased with.
