i just picked up a xd sub compact for carry. i am looking for a holster for it. i am tall 6'5 and around 240. i have tried a iwb holster with a 1911 i used to have. just around the house as i was in a state were i could not get a ccw. now we are and i have never carried before. the iwb did not seam to work to good for me. not sure if it was a bad holster or just not my type of thing. any hints or ideas in a holster that might feel better to carry this xd sub in? thanks for any help guys

I carry mine in a Galco stow-n-go. Works for me. Looking for a better one though, as I can't reholster.

Comp-Tac CTAC (or MTAC).

Here's my G30 in a CTAC:

I ordered one of these yesterday for my Service .40

Heard very good things baout him, guess it's just one dude that makes holsters when you order them.

Turnaround is about a week, and the price is right.

Over at the XD forum everyone raves about this IWB holster saying that you can wear it all day and forget you have it on.

Crossbreed or CTAC.

Good holster and belt makes all the difference.

Don't want to jack your thread, lol. Which one would do you guys like for a fat dude? LOL 6'8" 400lbs, not morbidly obese but a little squishy, lol. I carry a 1911 Charles Daly. That CTAC looks great.

I have the same thing along with a crimson trace grip on it.... fits perfectly in my M-tac holster... I have a spare 4" mold for an XD if anyone is interested.
