Congrats

I just got one myself, I love the trigger, wicked accurate and fits like a glove. I'm gonna pick up a hogue myself.

Hehe...wait 'til it's broken-in.  Congrats!! Of all my pistols the P220 is still the one that gets the most carry time. The finest DA .45 ever made. Enjoy!!

I've shot the 165 grain Hydra's. Not a single FTF or FTE

I've got somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 to 6,000 rounds of 230 grain Hydrashoks thru mine with 100% reliability.  All totaled, I'm sure I have 12 to 15,000 rounds through mine, all 230 grain, most Hydrashoks and Federal FMJ with 99.9% reliability.  I had one failure to feed about 6 years ago.  No idea what caused it though...

You are now the proud owner of one of THE MOST reliable pistols on the planet.  I will warn you though, it's like a disease.  I now have  the 220 in .45, a 226R in .40, a 239 in .357sig, and a 230 in .380.  Congrats, you're gonna love it.

Congrats on the new P220. Mine with the Hogue grips feels like it was made just for me.

And if you thought black rifle disease was bad, now you are infected with the Sig Sickness as well.

It is also incurable.

I just shot my P220 this afternoon for the first time.  WOW

I've got a P226 and P239, both in 9mm and a Kimber Custom II.   The SIG shot as well as the Kimber with very little recoil even with the alloy frame.

I was going to buy another 1911 for carry but the P220 will work just fine.
