I am trying to find a set of factory grips for my 1965 Colt Python. Anyone have any leads on a set?

Here's what you need:

These are the Colt Second Type Target grips.  For a Python the medallions will be Gold, NOT SILVER.  Silver medallion grips were used on lesser models.
Note the "thumb rest" on the left side ONLY and the curved checkering border under the medallions.

Unfortunately, these days genuine Colt Target grips cost more then the guns did when they were new.
It's not unusual for Colt Second Type Target grips to sell for prices in excess of $300 and UP.

Watch out for fakes. Ebay is bad and "the boxman" from Sparta TN, is now selling fakes that are hard to tell from genuine.
