hi, first post here but long time reader. i purchased a llama 9mm 1911 , got it for less than 200 ,so i thought it was a deal since i dont have a 1911 other than 45's.i went to strip it to check it all out before bringing it to the range but i wasent able to remove the firing pin because it dosent have the typical 1911 firing pin stop. which is removal, actually i dont see any way to remove the firing pin. does anyone know where i can find a schematic of this gun or for disassembly instructions., thanks

Not many llama fans here try another 1911 forum. Sorry.

First post, welcome!

I wouldn't worry about detail stripping it down all the way right off the bat. As long as the gun's recoil spring is good to go & the gun isn't damaged in any way, it should be good with just a normal cleaning, i.e. field strip.

I've never taken a Llama apart before so I'm not going to guess at it. Someone will be along shortly that will know.
