IIRC - the pro carry takes a standard full length 1911 magazine.

Get some good 8 round Chip McCormicks or even some Wilson 47D's. Kimber mags are NOT known for good performance.

I cleaned it and fired it a bit today.
It was kinda wierd I needed a paper clip to break it down. It has no bushing and a "bull barrel". I shot some golden sabers and some LSWC reloads. No hiccups.

Do you mind my asking how much you paid for the Pro Carry?  I am considering a purchase and am just curious.

Thanks!

If your flush w/cash you may want to try a Virgil Tripp mag.  They are really, really nice...as they should be for 44.00 each.

take a look www.trippresearch.com.  I figure since I carry to protect my life and the life of my loved ones why not use the best-it's only 20.00 more then the Wilsons (I had to return 2 different Wilsons for failing to hold the slide back).

Another vote for the Wilsons.
I used both my factory Kimber mags as well as a couple of Wilsons in a class yesterday, and after 200 rounds and being dropped in the mud and muck a number of times, they were all flawless. I have never had a problem with my factory Kimber mags.

Got to admit this Cobra Mag sounds pretty impressive.

Some of the guys at 1911forums.com are organizing a group buy should anyone be interested. $36 instead of $44

Check it out Here

Where is the best place to order wilson mags online besides brownells ?

I see some chip mckormicks pretty cheap at cdnninvestments.com but I'd rather get the wilsons.

Thanks.

www.cheaperthandirt.com sells wilson magazines.  I shoot wilson mags on both of my Kimber.  No problems.

Thanks for the pricing info.  I have the opportunity to get one for $698 + $25 x-fer fee and just wanted to compare notes.
