Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - hk barrels

Im in the process of making a usp TAC clone and need a barrel. Should I stay hk or go aftermarket. Im not really concerned about keeping it all hk but still want the accuracy and reliability the factory. Do you have a aftermarket barrel in your gun, if so post up your impressions? Thanks

The only aftermarket barrel I've used is a Jarvis O-ring extended.  I had it cut down and threaded for use in my USP9SD.  My accuracy improved quite a bit, but for some reason the USP9SD just wasn't that great.  Other SD owners have said the same thing.  After the Jarvis barrel it shoots just about as good as my Tac (no match trigger in the SD).
