Not sure where to buy, but I shot with one a Glock 17 that had been converted to full auto at a WI AR15.com shoot.
Damn that thing was awesome!!! Very controllable!! Would love to live in a state / country where I could own that. Would be a perfect pistol for a Black Water job. |

Don't you have to register the pistol as a SBR once you slap on that stock?

Too bad the carbine conversion kits look like total ass, or like rejects from an episode of the A-Team. If they fixed it up a little so it looks more evil, I might consider one. |

This is just a long barrel, not the carbine thing that you stick the frame in. I have never gotten to excited about those, I have no burning desire to use my Glock frame as part of a carbine v. just using a regular carbine |

See, I don't think the Mech-tech carbine set up looks bad.....I mean it NEEDS something new for a stock. I think I could make it look better if I had one to play with. I am tempted to buy a Glock again and maybe get one of the carbine upper units and attempt to redo the stock and forearm...maybe. Oh yes, I need funds before I can do it also....it sucks to be gun fund poor.

Could a person shorten the amount of upper "Tube" that sticks past the rear of the Glock frame at all?

43E1P if you are still lookin for A G17L Topglock has them As well as the G24.
I picked up mine last week haven't shot it yet I am either working or it's raining. (During dry firing it I have been able to keep the groups around 1/2" at 100 yards!) The trigger is alot better than my stock 17 that has had thousands of rounds through it! I was originaly in the market for a Bobcat BW-5 HK-94 clone but after reading all the bad reviews, I figured that a glock with 31 round mags would never let me down.
