Does anyone make +2 bottoms for the 229 or 226 in .40 S&W? It seems kind of dumb to only have 12 rounds in the full sized SIGs. Just curious.

I'm getting some of those for my mecgar 17rd P226 mags...cheaper than factory 20's by a damn sight.

Interesting.  Post back with reliability / durability range reports.   Wouldn't an extended bottom require a slightly stronger magazine spring?  I'm not even sure if the Mec-Gar 17 round mags have the same spring as the 15 rounders.
