I'm going to the auction tomorrow and dont want to pay to much. I looked at the gun today and besides the wear its actually a nice pistol.

do estate auctions add a premium to whatever the sale price is? i recently participated in an online auction (i think rock island auction) and they're premium fee is ridiculous.

considering the finish wear I would not go over 500 unless there is some verifiable significant history that goes with the gun

I see you posted it on this site too. I still say $300-$500. Commercial postwar gun in rough condition. Of course, auctions seem to get a little more when the crowd gets fired up. Good luck
