I know this was been beat to death, but please forgive me I'm not all that educated on the different bullet weights for handguns.I curently run 115 +p+ rangers out of my Sig 228.
Would I be better off with 124+p or +p+? Because I'm thinking about ordering some m882
from ammoman. Its 124gr so I'm thinking if I stock up on a lot of 124gr ammo, i should change my carry ammo to the same weight. Am I right or wrong??????
thanks in advance

Well since no one else sayed anything yet I will take a shot at it.. I would say take it to the range and shoot the M882 (if this is going to be your practice ammo) next to your carry ammo see how it differs, if its big try a 124 +p and see if it is closer then a 124+p+ and so on.. Just be sure you pick a good quality carry ammo and if none you like match the M882 then find another practice ammo that is close to your carry ammo.. Just my thoughts...

what is your current practice ammo and why are you switching? 115gr practice ammo will be cheaper than m882.

personally i carry hornady tap 124gr and practice with 115gr blazer brass. i feel no real difference between them when shooting other than a slightly bigger bang and flash from the heavier load.
