Saw a setup on page 92 of CDNN's 2006-1 pdf catalog that they have slide/barrel assemblies to convert an M92 ~> M96.

Anyone have any experience with such? Edukated opinions?

Thanks,

wganz

Do a search on the bereatta forum for a lot of info on this.  The facts were that converting from 92 to 96 did'nt work as well as going from 96 to 92.   Beretta never offered a slide/barrel kit to convert the 9mm to .40.  Beretta did offer a convertable pisol, but it was actually a 96 with matching slides/barrels/mags/springs ect.  to go back and forth.

I bought one of the CDNN 96G slide and barrel combos for my 92FS.  It was obviously a police trade-in.  Trijicon night sights (tritium is dead), but was in great condition.  Mates perfectly with my 92FS frame and feeds, functions and shoots perfectly.  Only about 200 rounds down the pipe so far, but I have no complaints.

YMMV
