I was discussing guns with an aquaintance and found out he is using a Hi-Point handgun with wally-whites for home defense. Spending on a new gun is not an option for him but I would like to turn him on to some quality ammo. Can the hi-point handle +P Ok? Having to use it is a realistic possibilty given his neighborhood.

Check the website, doesn't mention anything beside damage due to high pressure ammo is not coverd by warranty.

They will (see www.mkssupply.com/carbine.asp) but I'm not sure I would. He'll already get a nice velocity boost from the long barrel, anyway.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it. Even if something goes "ker-chunk" he's not out a whole lot of cash.

EDIT to make the link hot.

ETA: Never mind, just looked at the website. That's a pretty definitive answer. They didn't have that on the handgun part.

Thanks.
