The mini-cougar is the same upper as the full size.

The tried pretty hard to market the gun to LE. Since +p ammo is what is common carry, I can't say they would design it without it in mind.

BTW, I have the full and mini and mainly shoot +P ammo.

If you have concerns, you could always bump up a notch or two on your recoil spring, IMO. Check Wolf Gunsprings for options/ideas.

I have shot +P in my Beretta 8000 fullsize with no problems...

I think that you should be fine. If you are still in doubt, get it from the source and call Beretta.

They are great at fielding questions...
