Hi all,

I'm sure this has been covered a 100 times, but here goes...

I'm thinking about a Sig 245 or a Para Companion Carry LDA (I don't care for SA only). Any thoughts on either?

One of each please

Yeah, I wish! Maybe a USP tac thrown in for good measure (CCW maybe a little tough!)

I don't know anything about the LDA. I tried an acquaintance's 245 once. I don't have huge paws, and yet I found the grip on the 245 to be too short. I found it hard to control. If I recall, SIG might be coming out with magazines that have a finger groove on the bottom for the 245 to compensate for the short grip.

If it were me, I'd see if I could try before I bought anything. Also, I don't think the 220 is that much bigger.

I have a Glock 30 in .45, it's the same as the Glock 36 as mentioned above just wider grip to fit 10 rounds. I have heard nothing but good from the Sig 245's.

I've shot the P-245, they're obviously quality guns. P/O has the rep of uneven quality. I've shot their new DAOs & they jammed on me.

Get a H&K.
