Do you use/like grip extensions?

The grip extensions give it a whole new feel for me. They are the only reason that I purchased a SC because I could conceal my service model just as easy if the grips were the same leangth. Shooting with my pinky hanging out just is not how it should be for me. Drinking tea in England maybe but not shooting handguns.

The Pearce extensions make all the difference for me . . . I now feel like I get a decent grip on the gun, and it's much more fun to shoot.

I don't use my high-cap mag anymore.

For those that use the extender, is it noticeable when carrying concealed?

Not in the winter with enough cloths. I use the 10 rd mag in the summer or my smith 642

I don't use the short mag grip extension, but I do like it ;)

I'll probably order one for myself eventually.

I tried to use the Pearce Grip Extensions. I love the way they make the gun feel, but I had issues with reliable feeding. I wasn't having a ftf about every other mag. I took off the PGEs and had no more problems. I could only come up with the slight tilt of the magazine due to the torque applied to the base of the mag as the culprit. I figured the altered (downward tilted) angle of the round in the mag. was hanging up on the feed ramp. Maybe it was just my grip, who knows? Maybe I'll try them again, but I had no confidence in them after that happened, so I gave up on them. Anyone else experience anything similar?

I went to a gun show to buy an AR, and my wife wanted a 9mm. She has small hands, i have large ones. We ended up getting the XD sub because its perfect for either one of us due to the hi cap mag with the extension sleeve. I need to buy more of those mags soon.

I have the .45acp Compact version and I use the Pearce extension on my 10 round mag. It really improves the feel of the grip:

Looks like I'll get one and try it before I buy 5 to fit all my mags, thanks guys.

All my standard mags have the Pearce grip extension on them. Makes the grip so much more comfortable. Negligible difference in concealability.

I actually shoot my XD9SC better without the grip extension. I bought extensions when I bought the pistol new and later sold them.

Yes, I have the Pearce extensions on mine. I have an XD9SC and an XD45C with two 10rd SC mags with Pearce grips on them and three std. hi-cap mags with sleeves per pistol. No CCW here in IL but we're fighting for it.
