Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - XD 45 parts

I need a part. This is the spring that tensions the 'Cocked' indicator on the slide of my XD45. I was reassembling the slide after cleaning and it got away from me, probably joining the single socks I've lost through the years.

Where's a good place to go for this part?

You'd probably have better luck in the Springfield Armory section.

Also... can I safely shoot the gun without this indicator? I don't see why not.

Good to know pistolgear has parts but this is one of the complaints against the XD line.
I've heard before you're gtg w/o this indicator. When any of mine go they won't be replaced-im a squeeze check kind of guy.
