Wolf 9mm Ammo - AR15.COM

The gun show rolled into town and I picked up about 10 boxes (50 rds each) of 115 GR Copper FMJ/Steel Case 9mm Luger made by WOLF.

Usually I purchase all my 7.62 ammo from Wolf and I have no problems. But I'm have my doubts for the 9mm. I had several not fire with me yesterday, and resorted to take out my other brands. Maybe I just had a bad batch?? I was using a magnum research baby eagle.

Anybody else have problems with WOLF?

I don't bother with Wolf for pistols anymore, I load my own.

Never shot their 9mm as I have nearly 4,000 rds of Blazer in the safe.

Never had an issue with their .45, though.

I shoot the Wolf 9mm & .45 in both my Baby Eagles with no problems.

I qualified on the M9 with Wolf. None of us had any issues.

I've gone through 1000 rounds of Wolf 9mm with no problems, other than having to clean up after the primer sealant.

I've shot Wolf in 9x18, .223, 7.62x54R, and 7.62x39. No problems with any.

I've shot with a guy who shoots a lot of Wolf .45 through his Kimber. No problems with his either. Some people even reload the .45 ACP. It, the .40 S&W, and the .223 are boxer primed.

i've shot many cases of wolf 9mm, I have had maybe one or two rounds that did not fire

I also have fired lots of Wolf...and I have had a couple FTF, but since my pistol has second strike capability, I pulled the trigger again and it shot fine.

No Expert

Couple thousand 9mm rds through my Beretta, couple thousand through my SKS with no probs.

I've fired almost 1000 wolf 9mm through my sig 229. I've had only a few FTF, other than that no problem at all. I will continue to buy it but the winchester white box at wally world is almost as cheap if they have it in the 100 rnd value packs. Just can't ever seem to buy a 1,000 at one time, they never have enough.
