About to order a Glock 21 factory threaded barrel.  I don't know what generation these barrels are.

Are generation 3 and 4 barrels different?

no difference in gen 3 or 4 barrels

The half circle cutout for the recoil spring assembly in front of the locking lugs is a different shape on the Gen 3 and Gen 4 barrels.  I don't know if that would cause a problem with how it functions though.

I've purchased threaded barrels for my G19/21(both gen4's), the gen3 OEM threaded barrels work/fit fine!

I have compared Gen 3 and Gen 4 G17 barrels closely and cannot see any difference, including the half moon cut in front of the locking lug. They both shot fine in both Gens with the POI exactly the same.

Has Glock made an official statement on parts compatibility between Gen 3 and Gen 4?

I've run some of the Storm Lake barrels we have at work in Gen2s, 3s, and 4s.

Nobody seems to want to drop a threaded barrel into their Gen1

I'd wonder too.

So are the Glock factory threaded barrels being sold right now Gen 4?

I'm guessing they are.
