Went looking thru the maunal of my new 85b for instructions on what to lube specifcally and could not find anything. Do I need to lube anything in the action and if so with what and how often?

I use a light coat of oil on the rails & the locking block plus a drop on the hammer-sear contact point.  Too much is messy & can collect dust & crud.  This is a subject youll get a lot of different opinions on.   I read once that in extreme cold or desert conditions the British Military recomended running their Brownings dry, no oil at all.  I usually put just enough to make the action feel smooth & slick.
