I, sometimes, carry a full sized 1911 on the hip.  Only when a coat will provide the cover.

I carry a S&W M&P 9L.  I use a BladeTech Stingray holster.  I have a Bladetech IWB on order.

Heard a lot of good things about the ComTacs, I will probably try one of those out too.

I carry my 92FS at times, but I'm done with IWB's.
I just don't like the way they feel and place the pistol at times. I'm going strictly pancakes from now on.
They don't get the pistol as tight to the body, but there much more comfortable wearing all day than an IWB.
A fullsize like the 92FS does print more though and isn't as concealable in summer clothes. Nothings perfect and I'm starting to care less if I print or not.

I'm basically starting to see it as "Yeh I'm wearing a gun. If you don't like me being able to protect myself better, fuck off".

I carry my Sig 226 .40.  However I carry it in a range bag.  I work in an office and tell people it is sort of a brief case.  No one here knows that I am carrying.  I also keep my wallet and bills and checkbook in it as well.

IT IS NOT A PURSE!!

At least I keep telling myself that.

How comfortable is that? Thanks for the picture!

Plenty comfortable.  I'm wearing it right now.

You need a little slack in your pants waistband, obviously.  I wear mine at 2:30-3:00 (long story) but once you find your "spot" you forget you're even wearing it.

Yes full size 5in everyday & everwhere I go.

For a 1911 I believe they should be carried with leather
it's comfortable & carries & draws well.

I carry a P220 in a Blade-Tech IWB holster. I'm looking forward to trying out their new "improved" IWB holster with a fullsize 1911 in the near future.

Gun and method varies depending on my mood.

Typically:

M&P9 - IWB Comp-Tac CTAC
M&P45 (full size) - IWB Comp-Tac MTAC or RCS Phantom if light is mounted
5" 1911 RCS Phantom when light is mounted or Comp-Tac CTAC
