Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which bullet grain?

I'm purchasing a Bulgarian Makarov very soon and I have no idea what gran ammunition to buy. Will the heavier loads be ok or do I need to stick to the lighter ones? I only ask because surfing around I saw some warning about only lighter loads allowed or something to that effect. Is this true?

There have been some issues with the heavier bullets not feeding reliably due to length. Before you trust your life to anything you need to do your own tests with your own gun.
