I've been looking online, and I've only found Dan's Ammo as a site to get a Makarov. Are there any other online retailers that I can check out?

I'm looking for an East German, or a Bulgarian (but I've been told prices on the Bulgarian's are high at Dan's Ammo). I've checked out Makarov.com, but they don't sell Maks.

Thanks for any help.

if you're looking for a pristine, no "importer billboard" stamped on the slide makarov id suggest you buy from someone like Dans. ive heard many good things about the quality of their maks.

if you're looking for a truck gun or just wanna find out if maks are for you id suggest online gun auction sites.....do a google search, there's probably a 100 of em.
maks from $129.00 to $599 are yours to browse through.....hell, i just scored a $200 chinese mak this evening! gotta be quick, and a lil luck doesnt hurt either

Makarov.com has several listed on there web sight. Southern Ohio gun and Akron Armory also both have maks listed on there sights.

East German's are C&R and if you find one you'll find a much higher price tag than a Bulgarian.

Went to the gun show this weekend, and found a nice Russian high-cap. It's in near perfect condition, and included three mags. All of the bulgarians I saw around were crap.

I got the Russian for $280...a bit higher than a Bulgarian, but it is a high-cap model with three mags, and I got to inspect the gun before buying it. I think it even has the Pearce grips mentioned on Makarov.com.
