long reported to be a carbine? Not much has been said about this lately. Is Gaston going to put another false article in this years annual?

Generally anything new is introduced at SHOT. So we will have to wait and see.

Then you haven't been paying attention. We've had about two dozen threads on this subject including members who called Glock and members that toured the factory have suddenly disappeared [peer]

Start here: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=5&f=13&t=23869 and follow the other URL

BTW - What false articles were in the Annual?

As usual, the rumor was started by typical Glock know-it-alls who have proven once again, they know very little.

FWIW - I heard from several sources that a carbine was in the works, and most recently that there were problems with the prototypes delaying it's production. I am assuming this was the surprise announcement Gaston was referring to in this years Glock Annual

I know it all... they asked me not to tell but since this is only the internet and there are not that many people here I am sure I can tell you....

Glock is making something new!!!

Glock is getting into the AR-15 market! They are building a Glock version of the AR-15 with a Polymer lower that will use Glock mags. The initial launch will be in 9mm with the mag well designed to tke Glock 17 or longer magazines. Further designs for 40 and 357 Sig are to be offered later in the year with plans to offer bigger versions for the 45 ACP and 10mm next year. The internals are manufactured from 100% unobtanium so expect prices to be slightly more expensive then your average exotic sports car but it will be worth it as very few will be sold and over the years the value will be sure to rise in serious collector circles.

I heard this rummor from someone that heard someone say that they knew someone that knows a person that works for Glock and the person that works at Glock heard someone say that they had read the above press release on a secret glock website.
