Look here for answer; it seams that the double spring causes some problems but mostly in 9mm 4 Gen guns, but after braking the gun in with some heavier loads everything gets better

Get an 18 lb spring and captive rod from Lone Wolf.

Why do you need a upgraded spring, the glocks I recieved june of 2010 model 22 gen4, some have close to 7000rds never a problem.

Because people generalize gen 4 problems & don't say it's a 9mm only issue.
The .40 are fine. Don't worry about it. |

Never had a problem yet their is no number on mine called Glock they said it should have 011 spring new on the way . And they will put fact Glock nite sites on all day long if I ever send one in .
