Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What parts does Springfield actually make?

I was looking at a new Springfield GI 45 today.  I was surprised that the receiver was actually marked Imbel Brazil.  I've always known that Springfield used Imbel forgings, but I didn't realize that Imbel was doing the final machining as well.  Are these guns completely assembled overseas?

Yes the GI's come complete from Brazil.  All there others are finnished over here.
