A friend has a handgun that was made in Calf. and it has a design on it that may be a large C and then amt after also has 380 9mm on slide. What dose this shoot? 380,9mm or both? on the slide is kurz. Can someone shed some light on this piece?

That would shoot the .380 rd. The word Kurz means short. That would be a 9mm short which is a .380. I have one also, mine was made in Covina Cal. mine is the only one that I have heard of made in Covina, The ones that I hear about were made somewhere else in Cal. Whare was his made? Hope this helps
