I have been shooting 95gr JHP Barnual for practice and for carry and have not had any issues with it. I really like it.

I just picked up a box of 100gr Wolf FMJ that I wanted to try out. It is a little cheaper to shoot for practice.

What ammo have you guys tried, what is your favorite, what do you recommend, and where do you get yours?

My favorite is what you're using.. Barnaul. It's inexpensive, feeds well, and goes bang every time. I buy it locally for $5.95/box.

How do you like the Hornady?? Do you order it online? And how much does it run vs Barnual??

I wonder how they compare in ballistics...

Does anyone know if Speer makes any Gold Dots in 9x18?? I use those in my Glock and really like them, I would like to try them out for my Mak.

For what it is worth here is a site w/some gel test on some 9X18 loads. No big surprises, I've shot Hornady (found it to be very accurate) the Cor Bon is not bad, and it is hot, the Wolf and the Cor Bon are both getting close to low end 9X19 ball in energy. But enjoy the pictures on the page and then go get one!http://www.goldenloki.com/ammo/gel/9x18/gel9x18.htm
