I have had good experience with these:
EAA ST10 45 (HK USP clone) steel frame. 
Tisas M16 (CZ75) clone: 
SAR K2 (CZ97 clone?): 
Taurus PT92 (Beretta M9/92 clone) 
Any other recommendations (except 1911)? |

Canik 55 / TriStar clones of the various CZ Guns have proven solid for me.
The SAR B6 would get the nod if it weren't for the backwards safety operation. |

Jericho 941 is better than the original IMO.
I CCWed a 941FB and loved it. |

I loved my Helwan 9mm! It was heavy enough to do some real damage if you beaned someone in the head with it!

I'm not a fan of the Beretta 92 but I prefer the Taurus safety arrangement over the Beretta decocker.
I've played with the Taurus and it worked pretty good, I have no idea how well they would hold up compared to a Beretta. The Armalite AR24 is a fully forged CZ75 copy. Looks like a good starting point for a nice race gun. |
