Well... you can imagine.

Just got me 9 round mag for my G30... I not only can't get the 9th round in, I can barley get it halfway in.

Even the 10 round mags for the 30 weren't that tight when I first got them...  the full caps for the 22 fits in great.

That's why the Glock comes with mag loader.  I use it all the time.  Load up the mags fully and leave them for a week or so and it'll get a little better.

nancy boy i have some 10+ year old glock mags that are a PITA to get the last round into. that is a pro for H&K as ater the last round is loaded there is still a little wiggle room.

I bought both of my Glocks used and never got a loader.

It seems like a lot of the people never use them anyway.

Use my loader all the time.  Got some +2's on my g23 mags and cant get 15 rounds in without the loader.

I use my Glock mag loader on HK and Sig mags as well.

I can load my Glock mags (exept the 31 rounder) without using the loader.  Using the loader is a lot easier.

When I got new magazines (G27) I just loaded and unloaded them about 50 times each.  They're fine now bare handed.

I've loaded and unloaded it several times... the first time I got 9 rounds in I had to push it against my metal bed frame to get the last round it.  I put it in the gun overnight and this morning I could get the 9th in with my fingers.

It might actually be able to shoot like that now.

I have hk 10 rounders that will  not load 8 rounds sometimes. The 9mm gets screwed up in the mag body and I have to dump the ammo and try again.  mags are toghter correct.

I've had mine loaded for over a year and they're still tighter than a 15 yr old.

Yes, I went there.

Just wondering, where did ya get a "9" round magazine for the G30?

And why would one buy a 9 round magazine when there are 10 round mags (all mine are 10 rounders) available for the G30?

Not counting the use of G21 mags which hold 13 or 15.......(which I also have)

Mike

ps - to tell the truth I thought this topic was about the mag being "tight" in the frame, as in older NDF mags.....

Because it fits flush in the pistol like this:

I want to get some G21 mags for it in the future (along with a G21)
