I've decided to hold off on buying an Aimpoint and LaRue mount for my AR and am instead looking to get one a USP Tactical very soon as well. Got any info on where I can get one just as cheap?

I've got a SWR HEMS45 suppressor inbound for that particular gun.  My price on this will be $900 (suggested retail is $975).

I am a NFA dealer in Houston.

I bought the exact same suppressor for mine. It's supposedly the best .45 suppressor out there. My Form 4 has been pending for OVER 90 days now, so it should be any day now.

Not trying to start anything, but are suppressors illegal at all?  Are companies allowed to sell them and can you legally own suppressors?  If not, could you get into trouble for having one?

-Thanks,
Alex

They're not illegal unless you don't follow the proper rules for obtaining one. And pay Uncle Sam's tax. Depending on where you live there may be state laws that prohibit them.

I finally got mine today for $884 shipped. God I'm in love already. I'm not an HK fanboy, but I cannot wait to put this pistol through its paces. I like the trigger pull a lot and the grip is perfect for me, especially with a Hogue Handall, though I suspect I will wind up removing that once I get my CCW permit.

you don't remove it....

You just get the USP compact .45 for carry purposes .....

or just get them all....

Note: old pic, all have Hogue Handall grip sleeves now.

With winter coming, I am hoping I can get away with carrying the Tactical in a VM2, being the big barrel chested guy I am. I've heard of other people carrying it with no problems, so figured it was worth a shot. I do plan to get a Compact Tactical after winter though.

I carry my Tac in an IWB holster with no problems.  Just covering it with a jean jacket right now and you can't see squat.  I carry it at 5:00 and it's just fine even when driving.  Kinda nice carrying a piece that you know will shoot as well as the Tac.
