I haven't shot it yet. I ordered some tritium sights for it and 10 WC Vickers duty mags. Sights already arrived, mags should be here tomorrow then I’m going to shoot the crap out of it.

Thanks again Sir!! I haven't gotten with my guy yet but wanted to ask. Did you do yours with laser or mechanical routing (not sure thats the right term). I am kinda worried laser may cause cerakote to bubble or blister. |

It’s is a laser engraver….never messed with the finish on my Raider, just have to fill in the engraved areas.

Ran probably a hundred through each. Most was 230gr FMJs that I have no idea where they came from. Had it for 15+ years. Also shot a half a box each of 230gr GDHP. The GD didn't like the factory mags. It worked fine in my Wilsons. No other malfs of any kind. My oldest son put a TLR1 on his. My youngest seems to have confiscated mine.

I’ve made a couple of changes to my 9mm Raider. I added some more aggressive VZ grips, a WC flat wire recoil spring kit with a #13 spring, and Tritium sights from Kensight. I put around 600 rounds through it of mixed 124gr +P NATO FMJ and a mix of 124gr +P HST, Golden Saber Black belt, and IMI JHP. Additionally some 127 +P+ Winchester Ranger. The last 110 were my go to defensive ammo, 124gr +P HST out of the Vickers ETM 10 round magazines.
I don’t intend to carry the Raider, I was just wondering how it would perform because over on Reddit guys are saying theirs won’t feed JHPs reliably. I think that is a magazine issue. My Raider was flawless with Ed Brown 9 round magazines, and the 10 round WC Vickers ETM magazines, the factory 9 and 10 round magazines were fine with FMJ but HST and GS JHP would double feed occasionally. The Mec-gar 10 round magazines and 9 round parkerized Checkmate magazines seemed to have issues with both FMJ and JHP. So for now only the ED Brown and WC mags are used for serious use. The rest are range mags. I’ve decided I’m not going to clean it. I wiped it down and squirted some oil on the frame rails and around the bottom of the barrel. I’m going to push it to 2,000 rounds to see how it performs. From here on out I’m only going to use the Vickers ETM mags with it to track the malfunctions. Didn't expect to love this handgun so much. Just got it the day before yesterday.
