This may be a bit off topic... but I'm pretty impressed with the shop I ordered the Raider from so far. I never heard of them but googled them and they had good reviews. I called around 1040am to make sure it was actually in stock. They said it was but they only had a few left and offered to take the order over the phone. But I wanted to do it online since I had to move money first. I checked the status history after I got the shipping email last night.
I ordered at 1047am, shipping label was created at 1152am, and it was with UPS at 542pm. I wish all shops shipped like that! Again, I have no affiliation with this place. And I'll update when I get it... but so far, like I said, I'm impressed. The shop is Florida Gun Exchange anyone ever deal with them? |

OK hive, serious question, I have 1911 pattern guns but I need to know if these would make a good host for a 460 Roland barrel?
Second question, can these be converted to 10 mm? Thanks! |

I shot 100 reds of Remington 230 jhp and 50 rounds of Aquila 185 jhp without a malfunction. Hope that helps

FINALLY got my Raider in. My dealer called me from the distributor show asking me which one of the Tisas models I was looking for. After telling him, he got it ordered and... it STILL took forever. Alas... it's here. I have oiled her down and put 200 rds through it. I can say, that other than the right side grip panel coming lose, it has ran perfect... Accuracy is amazing, hanging in there with my Sig Emperor Scorpion. I could be more happy. The only thing I changed out was the recoil spring. I moved up to a 18.5 # spring due to loading and shooting some warmer loads. My cost for the pistol was $600 out the door. I don't think I did too bad.

This kind of pisses me off.
I got a Duty last year with the intention of having it recoated to be a M45 clone. Now they sell them. Sighhhh |

Finally saw one in gun store
Quite impressive. Not big on the FDE finish but I think I can get used to it. Seriously considering it... |

I believe they are actually the same pistol. The differences being the trigger, color, grip panels, and markings. Otherwise I believe they are the same. |

I have a 9 milli on the way. Pretty stoked!!
Prolly will get shamed and flamed because it is verbotten but I plan to have SOME of the M45A1 engravings put on mine. Nothing trade mark and some to make it specific to my USMC service. |

Are any of the Tisas "Not Cerakoted". Anything Parkerized or anodized?

Said to hell with it and ordered both the JSOC and Raider last week.
Picked them up yesterday. Very impressed with fit and finish on both pistols. Both are very solid. No perceptible wobble in the slide and frame fit. Triggers are a bit heavy. I'll put them on the scale Saturday. Both triggers have a plastic face. I prefer Videcki's so that will eventually get changed. Haven't gotten to live either yet. Will report when I do. |

These have been unfired by me. The carbon and brass seen would be from factory test firing.
Now to the engraver they go for a few "personal" touches. |

Excellent looking gun. I was going to try and build my own but I think I’ll get one of these instead.

They absolutely look fantastic for the money. I do wonder what percentage of Tisas require clean up to fully function reliably? I have read some people have had to disassemble them and remove burrs, etc., to get them functioning flawlessly.

I find out soon on the Raider. Given how tight the fit feels to me, it wouldn`t surprise me if it needs a break in period. |

What color finish did you use. That looks awesome. |

The finish is my factory color it came in. Light has a lot to do with how this color looks.
