Have one of these on order with my LGS for 580ish plus tax. They just don't know exactly when they will get it, waiting for a distributor to get them. This will scratch my itch for a Colt M45A1

Shot 300 rounds of pmc bronze 230gr ball this am and 40 rounds of Federal 230gr punch jhp.
I had one failure to feed with a wilson combat tactical elite10rd magazine with the pmc bronze on the first magazine and after that was smooth sailing. If you are on the fence about one of these, jump. ![]() |

Beautiful blaster and thanks for the feedback on your new Raider.
This thread caused me to buy one lol. I haven't had a .45ACP firearm in almost 20 years. Time to start stacking .45 again. Anyway, to keep this thread on-track, I recently purchased a Tisas Raider. Picking it up next Monday from my FFL. I already have a black B45R that I shot in a steel challenge competition and I had no failures, and was accurate to boot. |

They are nice pistols, I'm impressed. The two tisas (1911a1 army and the raider) 1911s I own are rock solid. Can't beat them for the price. |

Not sure if I want this "clone" or a commander sized 9 with a rail. I don't need both. And I've been on an all black gun kick and only in 5.56 or 9 |

I went with the non-railed commander 9mm for that reason. |

Raider is at least kinda appropriate. I might wind up looking for one. At first I was no way, if I want an M45 then this won't do. |

I put another 100 rounds through it today making it a total of 400 ball and 40 jhp with only that one initial failure to feed on the first magazine through it. I picked up mine earlier this afternoon.
I can't believe how nice these are made and how clean this trigger is. This is also my first 1911 so I'm pretty excited to take her out. Last time I shot a 1911 was in Germany in 1991 lol. |

Looking at getting a 1911 again and I like the look of these vs a basic Tisas. Ive only owned 1 Springfield Milspec that I sold a little while ago.
Is there anything specific to these versions that is different than a duty Tisas other than color/grips? Do we know if the ones shipping have small or large Raider engraving? Thanks |

It still shouldn't cost more than a Duty though... especially if they sell more because this one doesn't have that cartoon dirty bird on the slide. |

They were just putting the order together to submit to the warehouse and they were appreciative I called so soon to get the order altered. No problem and will just be refunding the difference of the 1 pistol. Pleasant on the phone even. So far it's deal with confidence with these guys at Dr. Gun Supply for those interested. Refreshingly great service and best price. |
