Both the x200 and x300 fit.

You're probably using the wrong x300 adapter.
Use the 1913

Holding out for $599 or better.

Guns.com has em again. About $710 once tax is considered for me or would probably FO at the $643.

Have one of these on order with my LGS for 580ish plus tax. They just don't know exactly when they will get it, waiting for a distributor to get them. This will scratch my itch for a Colt M45A1

Does the Tisas rail seem lower in profile compared to the M45A1? I know people were having issues finding a light beating holster for the M45A1 due to the large rail.

Shot 300 rounds of pmc bronze 230gr ball this am and 40 rounds of Federal 230gr punch jhp.

I had one failure to feed with a wilson combat tactical elite10rd magazine with the pmc bronze on the first magazine and after that was smooth sailing.

If you are on the fence about one of these, jump.

Beautiful blaster and thanks for the feedback on your new Raider.

This thread caused me to buy one lol. I haven't had a .45ACP firearm in almost 20 years.
Time to start stacking .45 again.

My in luck... what though?

I'd take one of those in .45 ACP with no Dirty Bird on the other side.

They would pull it off perfect and then write DELTA FORCE 10 on the slide in 1" letters.

You must be real fun at parties.

Anyway, to keep this thread on-track, I recently purchased a Tisas Raider. Picking it up next Monday from my FFL. I already have a black B45R that I shot in a steel challenge competition and I had no failures, and was accurate to boot.

Post some pictures when you get it.
They are nice pistols, I'm impressed.
The two tisas (1911a1 army and the raider) 1911s I own are rock solid.
Can't beat them for the price.

You should see his Jakl thread and what constitutes as proprietary.

Back on topic. Not sure if I want this "clone" or a commander sized 9 with a rail. I don't need both. And I've been on an all black gun kick and only in 5.56 or 9

You don't want the one w/rail if you plan on mounting a full-sized handgun light. I went with the non-railed commander 9mm for that reason.

Damn

I don't mind that at all. The rollmark isn't bad either. Raider is at least kinda appropriate.

I might wind up looking for one. At first I was no way, if I want an M45 then this won't do.

Your going to like the raider.
I put another 100 rounds through it today making it a total of 400 ball and 40 jhp with only that one initial failure to feed on the first magazine through it.
I'm going to clean it tomorrow and see what kind of wear there is.

I should also add, I tried a variety of different magazines.
Left to right:
Nighthawk custom 8rd, Mecgar 8rd, Wilson Combat 8rd, Wilson Combat 8rd, Chip Mccormick 8rd, surplus Colt 7rd and Wilson Combat elite tactical 10rd.

And they all seat, feed and eject flawlessly.

This picture below shows the magazines that are shipped with the raider.
They are unmarked, but look like good mags, alot nicer than the ones that came with the 1911a1 Army.

I have a couple Chip McCormick 10 round power mags incoming to try out, but I suspect the gun will perform flawlessly with them as well.

I picked up mine earlier this afternoon.
I can't believe how nice these are made and how clean this trigger is.
This is also my first 1911 so I'm pretty excited to take her out.
Last time I shot a 1911 was in Germany in 1991 lol.

Those are Checkmate magazines that Tisas included in the OEM sale. Glad they go with a known  brand mags which has good reputation.

Looking at getting a 1911 again and I like the look of these vs a basic Tisas. Ive only owned 1 Springfield Milspec that I sold a little while ago.

Is there anything specific to these versions that is different than a duty Tisas other than color/grips?

Do we know if the ones shipping have small or large Raider engraving?

Thanks

I think it's mostly different- 1913 frame, different trigger, lanyard loop mainspring housing... right?

It still shouldn't cost more than a Duty though... especially if they sell more because this one doesn't have that cartoon dirty bird on the slide.

Spoke to them just now over the phone and they actually picked up the phone unlike 87% of the businesses in the world today.  Guys are Johnny on the spot.  They were just putting the order together to submit to the warehouse and they were appreciative I called so soon to get the order altered.  No problem and will just be refunding the difference of the 1 pistol.  Pleasant on the phone even.  So far it's deal with confidence with these guys at Dr. Gun Supply for those interested.  Refreshingly great service and best price.
