A while back I posted about my PT1911 locking up when shooting it, the thread has gone into archive now so I thought I would start a new one to let you guys know what happened.  Someone suggested that it may be running too dry and to lube it up real good.  I had previously been just using CLP to clean and lube it but upon suggestion I decided to give it a generous helping of Hoppes gun oil.  I have taken it out twice now and it has not hiccuped since.  Thank you to whoever it was that suggested that.

Glad to hear your pistol is running smoothly.

I like to run my 1911's pretty wet, BTW.

Not unusual for 1911's to require a breaking in period.
