First, I'm finally glad to get my XD9 a bed buddy.  Ordered a D. Tan USP-T .45 earlier this week, and I'm drooling every day I wait. But to pass the time, I was playing around at the store today, and was thinking about getting a TLR-1 rolled into the deal.

Looking at the light, it appears that with removing 1 set screw and the middle rail insert, the light will work as a clamp mount on a USP.

Looking at the back of the box as well, it looks like the USP pictured does not have a rail adapter with the light mounted.

Am I off on this assumption, or spot on?
