Is it possible to buy a Springfield Champion slide?

I can get aftermarket slides at Brownell's, with my discount, but I was trying to keep it all Springer...

Not unless you call Springfield and ask real nice.

I tried that..not only did they say no..they said, "No we are not kidding."

Oh well...maybe a STI slide or a Les Baer...from Brownell's of course, I need to give my discount a good thrashing..

Though I like both, and they are both better in quality than Springfield, I would get that STI. With the discount, it's a pretty affordable slide. I've used a few, and I love them. I could live without the goofy cocking serrations though.

I'm leaning toward the STI..but like you, I too am not a fan of the cocking serrations...

I would really dig a STI slide without them..

M_J, nice pick. That's a pretty good price.

Get a Caspian slide and have it configured however you want it.

He saves almost $60 going with the STI, though I'm sure he's considered Caspian.

I did, but with $60 in my pocket I I'm nearly 1/2 way to a barrel...
