I carry a backup but in a pocket holster, I don't dig ankle holsters.

Ditto on not liking ankle holsters.
I'm a S&W 642 (j frame) in a pocket holster guy. Works great as a summer shorts/swimsuit primary too. |

yeah, i can see the ankle holster getting heavy and sweaty. But I don't want to carry anything else in my pockets. I already have a cell, knife, keys and pens.

I always carry a backup. Mine is a Kel-tec P32 in a pocket holster 90% of the time. This is by far the best way to carry such a small pistol.
I have it currently on me as I write this! |

If I'm carrying an ankle piece, I usually have either a Charter Arms Off-Duty 38special snub nose or a Taurus Millenium 9mm.

my BUG is a Beretta Tomcat, but I don't do the ankle holster thing, since I almost always wear a skirt.

I just bought a NAA mini-revolver today in .22 magnum. Also got a pocket holster to go with it. I carried it out tonight in addition to my SA XD-9 Subcompact IWB and I almost forgot it was there. After I bought the mini-mag I drove directly to the range and put 500 rounds through it. I got the convertible model that also included the .22lr cylinder, so putting lots of lead down the range was uber-cheap.
I was pleased with the accuracy...I was able to get 2-3" groups at 10 yards once I figured out how to hold and aim the little bastard. I was also pleased with the reliability. Out of 500 rounds I had one Federal "golden bullet" .22lr dud, and that wasn't the gun's fault. All of the .22 mags I shot were spot on accurate. I was choosing between the mini-mag and the Kel-Tec .380. I shot the KT the other day (a friend's primary carry gun) and had two failures in one magazine. Not acceptable. I would rather have a smaller bullet that I can consistently put between the eyes than a larger one that may f--- up after one shot. Besides, my primary carry is the XD; I've yet to have a failure after 1,000 rounds, so I'm pretty sure I won't need the BUG. |

No backup gun for me...I don't even carry a spare mag.
I do carry a Fox Lab that's worth the like of 10 extra bullets and BUG though  In the extreme proximity, just pepper spray and run, or spray and beat the hell out of BG, or spray, beat the hell out, and stick him with a knife, and pop one in the head J/K

Hey, I used to have a pocket gun but found it almost next to useless. I admit, pocket/ankle gun would be great for James Bond or Ninja types who carry out assassinations. Did I mention Fox Lab is a lot lighter than BUG and 10 rounds?

I carry a snubby in my weak hand front pocket. I've used ankle holsters before and they are good for concealment and easy to get at while driving but I prefer the pocket. For ankle carry I like the Keltec P32 or 3AT or an airweight 38.

I have on occasion carried my primary OWB strongside and added an Officer's 1911 as a BUG in a crossdraw holster or Bersa 380 in back pocket.

Same here.....mine is a NAA .380 Guardian in a weak side rear pocket holster.......main EDC is a Para Ordnance C7 .45 LDA. |

Sometimes yes. More often recently, since I got a P3AT (and a pocket holster) which has so far proved quite reliable (did the F&B before taking it for break in). Never tried an ankle holster, but am thinking of it for the Kel Tec. In the past, I've carried an American Deringer .45 LC/.410 in a pocket (pocket holster). I have a double Galco shoulder rig set up for Glocks. Done any combination of a 17/19/26. Also done full size and compact 1911's. Back in "the day", I used to carry a Combat Commander with a S&W 59 as back up,

I don't normally carry a BUG, unless I just get home from school with my P32 still in my pocket and holster up for errands. I do carry a 2oz can of Fox most of the time along with 2-3 blades. When traveling I always keep a BUG tho. Sometimes I'll carry a Colt DS in an Ankle rig.

I carry a WC 1911 compact in an IWB with spare mag & that suits my needs for most times I require a carry weapon.
When I go down to New Orleans or some event where things have a higher chance of getting ugly I carry another 1911 compact and a total of 2-4 spare mags. How I carry depends of weather, clothing selection, etc. |

Unable to carry a BUG. Colorado CCW laws state only one handgun can be carried. Which means the sawed off shotgun I try to hide in my coat is a No-Go as well since it explicitly states it must be a handgun.

Ever get a squib load? I have. Twice. Last one was in my Glock 19. Locked it up so tight, it took the gunsmith 20 minutes to break loose the barrel from the slide and extricate the expanded case from the chamber.... Every gun can fail. The odds are certainly against something like that, but I think about it everytime I leave the house with only one gun. |

If I had the money for another I probly would but school drains the cash. My buddys dad has one of those .22mag revolvers by NAA and one of their belt buckle holster for a back up.

I too looked them up and did not find anything, but I was told by the CCW instructor that we a re limited to one handgun. I will do more research and see what I can uncover
