I'm guessing it is the Mec-Gar mag as it doesn't do it with other mags.

Mag spring wore out? I bought it used BTW.

Just the mag, most likely.  Is that the ONLY mag with the gun?

If so, look for some 13rd mec gars or some OEM BHP mags.

No, it came with another mag which I assume is an original Browning mag. The Mec-Gar is a 15 rounder while the Browning is a 13 rounder. Anyone have this happen with Mec-Gar 15 rounders?

I do need to order some more mags soon. I guess I'll be sending Midway some money soon.

I kinda suspected how long the  Mecgar 15 rounder would last since it has weak-looking follower...

My Mecgar 13 rounders have been working fine.
