I have been trying to replace my slide locking lever and have been having trouble.  I have been studying the exploded diagram and it looks like it just pops out with pressure, but I don't want to force anything (the 'Make-It-Fit' principle usually turns into the 'Make-It-Broke' Principle!).  Can anyone offer any help?

You need to partially disasemble the frame.

Punch out the pins above the trigger. Then pry out the silver locking block. Then you can lift out the slide lock.
