I just picked up a P228 and im doing a light rebuild on it to refresh this great little shooter. Ive tore it down completely with the exception of the tooth'd roll pin as I don't have a new one on hand. Im going to Phosphate/Park all the carbon steel parts. I was going to do everything but didn't know if the Sig was coating the springs, sear, hammer ext... on the MK25's and M11's. I will also be replacing all springs to include mag springs and Park'ing the mag bodies, retaining plate as well.

Im planning on Park'ing all the springs, and sear and hammer. So my question: Is Sig coating the springs in the MK25, M11 pistols and does anyone have a list of what they are coating?

Thanks for the help, just wanted to know what Sig is doing, compared to my plan

I don't think the springs are coated due to that heating springs up isn't a good idea.
