Hey, thinking about getting a Sig P365XL Romeo Zero for EDC, do you all think they're good to go?

Thanks

I ccw a 365xl everyday. It’s literally the most accurate 9mm I have. I mean, lights out accurate. It’s been great to me,I trust my life to it. I haven’t tried the zero yet so not sure about durability etc.

I'm very satisfied with my 365 and XL, but from what I've read the Zero has had its problems, if you buy the XL with the Zero installed, I understand the rear cover plate with sight isn't included and... you can't purchase the cover plate separately , , given there's a fair chance the Zero may have problems.
Just my 2 cents, I'd suggest you buy the regular XL and get a RDS separately.

Would that be a reason to go with the P320 X Compact RXP instead?  Or is that better either way?

Certainly not for me, I'm impressed with the 365 and XL, carry the XL AIWB
7 days a week, I'd just want to be sure I have the cover plate with rear sight.

I opted for a laser instead of the optic, XL is a tack driver and an absolute pleasure to carry

I have a p365xl with Romeo zero. No complaints so far. I have been carrying it daily for the last month or so. I had Romeo1 on a p320 x-carry, it gave me nothing but problems. Optic went back to Sig 3 times, and would  still eat batteries. I ended up selling the gun and the optic went into the closet. Didn’t think I would end up with the XL with the romeo, but a friend picked one up and didn’t like it, so he cut me a deal I couldn’t refuse.

Does anyone else make a rmr for narrow slide pistols like the 365 or g43x?
P365 Series is unmatched tech for ccw atm but not hot on sig sights.

Look at the Shield RMSc or the yet to be released Holosun 507k or 407k.

Following. I hear you can snag the 365xl with dot pretty cheap. Is that true?

I think...
Unless somethings changed, if you buy one with the Zero rds,
You don't get the sight cover plate (which includes the rear sight),
personally, I'd get the XL and rds desperately .

I'm waiting on the Holosun 507K. Here's a good video review.

I am using my crossbreed holster for the p365, that I sold once I picked up the p365xl. It fits perfectly with the optic.

Is there a downside to getting the P365XL, then buying the optic after?

Are the rear iron sights part of the optic?  Or if no optic is it built into the cover plate?

I wish they’d just have normal dovetails.

The stand alone rear sight is mounted to the cover plate,
the Romeo Zero, Shield RDS's have usable notches in
the rear of the sight to serve as back up rear sights,
mine works pretty well for it's intended purpose.
As I understand it, if you purchase the XL package with the
R zero, the gun comes without the cover plate / rear sight
and you cant get one through a vendor or Sig themselves...
if your RDS takes a dump, seems you're kinda stuck.
Might make sense to get them separately.
