Are these "S&W" magazines Wilson 47Ds, or did Midway bungle the photo?

I saw that, but it doesn't say if it's a 47D or not.

Sure looks like one. I was told that the early sw1911's (couple hundred I was told) did come with wilson 47d's. Most I have seen have come with ACT mags with smith and wesson logo. But it reallly looks like a wilson

Yep, mine too.

ETA. I have a pretty crappy monitor but if you enlarge the picture for both the mag you linked and the true 47D you can read the "Wilson Combat" logo on the base pad of the 47D. I bet Wilson makes the S&W mag but puts a plain black base pad on it. Dealer pricing on the true 47D is only $1 more FWIW.

OK, I did a little photoshop columbo work here.

The mag on the right is the S&W mag and the 47D is on the left. The mags do appear to be different, that is because the original image for the 47D is backwards (mirror image). Look closely and you can see the notch for the mag catch is missing and the notch in the mag body for the empty mag/slide latch is on the wrong side.

Adjust the levels from the original image and both mags are Wilson. IMHO the S&W mag is a 47D for $1 less than the 47D. (dealer price) The normal price difference is $4.

Taking a shot in the dark, I'm going to say yes.

It says Wilson Combat on the base pad, just backwards and upside down.

Considering the description says blue and the pic appears to be stainless steel I'm gonna guess Midway used the wrong pic.

I've had several S&W 1911's and my experience has been the same as the other posters, the early guns came with Wilson mags, later guns came with S&W logo'd mags.

The S&W mags look like the older Wilsons before they were "improved".
