I just aquired a S&W M17-2, it's in great shape w/ a trigger pull that induces big smiles. However one of the previous owners was a bone head & took a dremel tool to the face of the .400 grooved trigger. It's now smooth & shiney has that " I used a Dremel & I'm a freakin' dumb ass" look to it. I called S&W & thay want $46.00 bucks for a new trigger ! The last time I dealt w/ them they sent stuff out for free wth ! Anyway is there any one that might stock such an animal that doesn't want an arm & a leg ? Here is a pic of her :

Thanks anothergene ! Might just break down & get it from S&W. The things people do to classic firearms disturbs me

I'm wanting a M15 next I think

What is "classic" now has not always been so, and S&W triggers used to be a dime a dozen...unfortunately no longer the case, either. FYI, any "K". "L", or "N" frame trigger from the appropriate years when the innards were the same as yours will work. It is the hammers that are different. Maybe that will open up your search market a bit.
