Anyone know someone that makes wood grips for the 2213 or 2214?

I would suggest you go over to rimfire central and go to the S&W forum. They will know.

By the way my favorite is a silenced 4.5" 422.

So how does it sound?  What ammo works for you?

Make your own.
I doubt you will find any production grips being made for this long out of production handgun any longer.
I just cut a set of 422 grips down and rebored the bottom screw holes, pretty easy to do.
The internal cuts on the grip panels are pretty involved, if you did find someone to custom make a set of grips, the price would likely exceed the value of the gun. HTH

Not trying to hijack, but where'd you get your adaptor?

I have pretty much settled on two loads: Federal Bulk 550 Wal-Mart bulk pack (in the red/maroon box) and CCI Standard velocity (I have ran WInchester bulk pack and Remington Gold without issues also).  The 442 family are not picky. I have somewhere near the 2.5K through mine (all most all were suppressed). If it is really really dirty then I have noticed a tendency to not lock back on the last round (rerely, but at times) with the Standard velocity CCIs. Other than that I am 100% with the above mentioned .22LR loads and don't clean it that often.
The only time it was not 100% was when I accidently bought SV .22 longs (yes not long rifles). These fired 100% but I had five or six FTE in the 100 rounds, because the slide did not go far enought back for the ejector to kick the empty out. They ran very quiet.
