Correct.  Stick with Wilson's and Tripp as the other post states.  The followers on the Chips' rock forward and batter the feed ramp.  No issue on a steel gun, but bad news on alloy frames.

Of the 8 rounders, my 4.25" 1911PD prefers Novaks to Wilsons. Haven't tried the Tripps.

As always, though, I recommend Colt or equivalent design CheckMate/Metalform 7 rounders.
