Got a question on the New ST Sigs (both 226 and 220).....due to the rail, do they use a different holster than the regular 220/226?  I am an Officer and was thinking of getting one as my duty gun, but didn't know how difficult it would be to find a holster for it (I must have a minimum Level 2 retention)

If they do need a different holster, does anyone know if safari land and FObus are making holsters for them, both without and with light attached?

The railed versions generally WILL NOT fit holsters for non-railed guns.  Safariland makes just about their full line for the 226R (same frame size, different material); I have a 6285 for my 226R with M3 installed.  The "new" 6280/5 series for Sig are "roomy" enough that both the railed and non-railed versions of the 220/6 will fit in the same holster without the light attached...

Regards,

Kevin

Search for holsters that were made for ones with a rail.
