Are the .40 and 9mm barrels interchangeable in these guns? In other words, if I buy the SR40c can I buy a 9mm barrel and magazine for the gun and have it work? I know you can do this with other guns such as the Shield.

I highly doubt it. The recoil springs would be very different for starters. I know the guns don't share identical dimensions.

Then there is the Slide Face, one is made to fit a 9mm case whereas the other fits a .40 S&W...
