Has anyone heard any sort of timeframe for the release of the SP2022 9 with the threaded barrel?

I wish I could find a threaded barrel for my SP2022, it would make it the perfect Sig, IMO!

Call ADCO, they may be able to extend and thread your current barrel, Tornado Technologies would probably do it too.

All you have to do is find a company that imports Euro Sauer parts, they've been avail there for a while.

I have literally never seen one in the States, and Ive been looking.  Looking everywhere.

When Sig announced that the threaded barrel version of the SP2022 was coming out this year, I figured that would be the first accessible threaded barrels for these.

No, when the SP2009 came out, there were plastic training barrels, flat mag floorplates, and threaded barrels avail through Sauer EU parts folks. With the Colombian military adopting the SP, I'm guessing the model with the threaded barrel was introduced as a secondary outlet for the Colombian military models with threaded barrels.

I've been looking around for a threaded barrel for mine too after seeing the link on Sig's website http://sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/sp2022-nitron-tb.aspx with one I've been keeping my eyes open.
