Okay but the slide is a M&P style so will it fit that type of holster?

SD-9 = Improved, enhanced Sigma.

This means 4" barrel, not 4.25" barrel.

SD series takes Sigma magazines.

SD series take the Sigma Guide Rod and Recoil Spring.

Wide serrations and a scallop down the side do not make it a M&P.

Start with the Sigma holsters.

The SD has potential.

Actually, some of the Sigma holsters are M&P holsters.

Besides the SERPA and nylon ones?

Blade Tech and Raven don't.

I freely admit that I do not know all the holsters mfg's.

I tried my SD9 in a few sigma holsters the gunshop had, they all fit the pistol. I would start there.

This is the holster I went with btw. http://www.taguagunleather.com/new/quick-draw-leather-belt-holster-p20

On the website they dont list that model for the sigma or the SD, only the M&P. On the package when I bought it sigma was listed, cant remember if the M&P was as well.

Sd's fit in the M&P holsters well. I use 2 different don hume holster for both my M&P and my SD's. And for those saying it is just an improved Sigma, it is so much more that that statement really is an insult. Just because a firearm shares a a guide rod and magazines doesn't make it the same gun. Trigger group is completely different, uses m&p sights and extractor & plunger and a NEW striker assembly. It is truly a blend of the 2 with only cosmetic similarities to the Sigma. Also my M&P 40c can use my full size sigma mags, does that make it "just an upgraded sigma"?
